Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan have both been crucial for France at the Euros, now preparing for the semi-final, and this hasn’t gone unnoticed by AC Milan. According to a report, things are moving on the renewal front.

The French duo are under contract with Milan until 2026 and in the last few months, there have been many rumours regarding their future. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic made it clear that they will remain and that seems to be the stance still.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Maignan is now inclined to accept the offer made by Milan and Giorgio Furlani to renew. There will be a significant increase from the current €2.8m he receives per year, but it certainly seems justified.

As for Hernandez, Milan are willing to keep him past this summer even if an agreement isn’t reached on the renewal. Only an offer of €80-90m could change the stance but no club has even come close to this figure.

In conclusion, it seems that both Hernandez and Maignan will stay at the club for next season as well (at least) and that is certainly good news for the Rossoneri fans. Instead, it seems Ismael Bennacer could be the one to leave.
