The first few months of the season have been fruitful for the nine Eintracht Frankfurt players currently out on loan.

The defender, who turns 19 in a couple of weeks, is enjoying a successful time at 1. FC Saarbrücken, where he has started eight league matches and the team’s DFB Cup first-round fixture. He provided an assist in a 4-1 victory at Hertha Berlin at the end of September, and another in Saarbrücken’s recent 1-0 win over Kaiserslautern.

Jens Petter Hauge

Hauge, who has been at his hometown club FK Bodø/Glimt since January this year, was on fire in the team’s opening match of the league phase of the UEFA Europa League, setting up his team’s first goal against Porto to equalise at 1-1, before scoring two more himself in a 3-2 success.

The midfielder has helped Bodø/Glimt to the top of the Norwegian Eliteserien table, contributing six goals and three assists in 22 outings.

Jessic Ngankam

Ngankam has featured in all of Hannover 96’s competitive matches so far this season, starting six of the Bundesliga 2 side’s eight league assignments. The 25-year-old has scored once, netting the only goal of the game in a win over Hamburger SV.

Ignacio Ferri Julià

Nacho Ferri needed just 180 seconds to turn the game around for KV Kortrijk against KRC Genk on Matchday 10 of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. Leaders Genk had taken an early lead, but the Frankfurt academy graduate struck twice between minutes 16 and 19 to fire his side to victory. The attacker now has three league goals this term, having featured in nine of the team’s ten matches.

Aurélio Buta

Aurélio Buta made his debut for Stade Reims on Matchday 3 in France’s Ligue 1 and provided an assist in the team’s 2-1 triumph over Stade Rennes. The Portuguese defender was subsequently in the starting line-up for Matchdays 4-7 and has not lost a game with his new club since arriving there, helping them up to fourth in the table.

Paxten Aaronson

Things are going well for Paxten Aaronson and FC Utrecht, who are currently second in the Dutch Eredivisie, five points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven but with a game in hand. Aaronson has certainly played his part in that, with the 21-year-old American hitting the winner in a 2-1 success away to AZ Alkmaar, and finding the target a week later in a 3-2 victory over RKC Waalwijk.

Simon Simoni

The 20-year-old Albanian goalkeeper has so far made four appearances on loan at FC Ingolstadt 04. He made his debut in Germany’s third division in a 1-1 draw at Alemannia Aachen on Matchday 9 at the beginning of October, but has been sidelined recently due to muscular complaints.

Hrvoje Smolcic

Smolcic has so far made six competitive outings for Austrian side LASK, playing the full 90 minutes on four occasions. One of those was in the 4-2 Matchday 7 home win over Grazer AK. However, injury forced the Croatian centre-back to miss the team’s subsequent league matches and league phase opener in the UEFA Conference League.

Faride Alidou

The winger made his Serie A debut for Hellas Verona against none other than Juventus, while he also featured against Lazio. The north Italian side are currently in 12th place after seven rounds of matches.
