Loan planned for Borussia Dortmund talent Almugera Kabar | OneFootball

Bild report that Borussia Dortmund are openly looking to send rising talent Almugera Kabar (19) on loan. Several domestic and international clubs have shown an interest in signing the left-back, who recently signed a contract extension until 2028, fending off interest from Barcelona and Milan. A potential sticking point in Kabar’s loan is that Dortmund have no intention of including a purchase option in the player’s loan contract.

Although Kabar is highly thought of in Dortmund, their signing of Daniel Svensson on a permanent basis means the 19-year-old would find regular football hard to come by. The German youth international has played just 12 minutes under Niko Kovac.

Upon extending the player’s contract in February, Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl said: “He is a local boy with great potential who has already made his mark in the past. He has a lot to offer in terms of his physique, footballing ability and character. We will work together to develop him step by step.”
