Liverpool: this legend hospitalized

Ian Rush, Liverpool legend, was hospitalized last week due to respiratory issues caused by a severe flu.

The 64-year-old Welshman spent two days in intensive care and is now recovering. Rush is Liverpool's all-time top scorer with 346 goals and has won five league titles and two European Cups with the Reds. The club wishes its former player a speedy recovery and thanks the Countess of Chester Hospital for their care. His discharge date has not yet been set, but his life is not in danger.
