A number of Paris Saint-Germain stars have publicly warned Liverpool of their confidence heading into Tuesday's Champions League last 16 second leg.
PSG were comfortably the better of the two sides when they met last week, but it is Liverpool who hold a slender advantage after Harvey Elliott's late strike saw them snatch a 1-0 victory at Parc des Princes.
Having enjoyed 70% possession and 27 shots on goal during the first leg, the PSG squad is bursting with confidence as they head to Anfield looking to book their spot in the quarter-final.
"Now is the time to show what a team we are," said midfielder Vitinha. "We're going to show what a team we are, we’re going to show our character. We're going to win there. With the game we played, the victory was more than deserved."
Vitinha was not alone with his public warning to Liverpool as defender Lucas Hernandez also chimed in.

"We are very confident. We played a good match in the first leg. We are aware of that," he said. "Everyone wants to qualify - it's an objective. We know that it's not going to be easy, it's never easy to play at Anfield. But, we have great players, a great group, a superb team. Frankly, we are in a very good dynamic and we hope to do what is necessary at Anfield."
Right-back Achraf Hakimi added: "If we manage to create the same chances, we will definitely score at least a few. We have the ability to win, we have the squad for that. We will continue on the same dynamic as since the beginning of 2025."
While manager Luis Enrique was frustrated by the result from the first leg, he warned Liverpool that PSG could arguably be more dangerous now they are up against it.
"We are in the best possible conditions to challenge Liverpool, we have nothing to lose and we will give everything to qualify," he said. "After the defeat against Liverpool, we were sad but we recovered, we regained our spirits."
