Premier League champions pushing to complete £45m deal
Justin Kluivert has said that he expects Bournemouth teammate Milos Kerkez to join Liverpool this summer.
The Hungary international was one of many standout performers for the Cherries last season, scoring twice and weighing in with five assists in 38 Premier League appearances.
Such form has seen Kerkez tipped for a move to Anfield where he is seen as the long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
Discussions are rumoured to be underway with Bournemouth for the left-back over a possible deal worth £45m and it would appear a replacement has already been lined up Rennes captain Adrien Truffert.
Meanwhile, Kluivert was quizzed about Kerkez's future following an 8-0 win for the Netherlands over Malta in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night and expects the transfer to be completed sooner rather than later.
Speaking to VoetbalPrimeur, Kluivert said: "He'll probably go there. I hope so for him.
"He hasn't really said goodbye yet, but I hope he'll make it happen there."

It has already been a busy summer for the reigning Premier League champions having signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
In addition, recent reports suggest they are closing in on an agreement with Leverkusen for what would be a club-record transfer for talented attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz.
If the Reds can get a deal for Kerkez over the line then Arne Slot’s side will be in a great position to defend their Premier League title crown next season and also mount a serious challenge in the Champions League as well as the domestic cup competitions.
