One of those players is Keyrol Figueroa. The USMNT youth international forward is the son of Maynor, who played in the Premier League, most notably for Wigan Athletic.
Keyrol has always been highly rated. He was one of the youngest players to play for the club's U18 team and has caught the eye at various youth tournaments.
But now he faces an uncertain future at Anfield. The 18-year-old forward, who will soon turn 19-years-old this summer, has barely featured for the U21s this season.
He's made just four starts in the U21 Premier League and scored just one goal. Most of the time he has found himself on the bench.
Anfield Watch understands as a result he will be considering his future this summer and the possibility of a departure from the club is definitely on the cards.

In light of this, Figueroa was spotted posting a picture of himself attending an Inter Miami game on his Instagram story last weekend.
The Liverpool youngster is on a break at the moment with his club duties concluding this season and it seems like he caught Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in action.
He's going to be joining up with the USMNT's U20 squad later this month to play in Egypt against Norway and Colombia.
After that, Figueroa will undoubtedly consider his next steps. Having been born in the United States and being a USMNT player, a return to play in the country is certainly a possibility.
Perhaps even a move to Inter Miami cannot be out of the question. After all, David Beckham's team are always looking to invest in young talent as well as established stars.
For Figueroa, the possibility of playing alongside Messi and Suarez will definitely be an appealing one, too.
