Liverpool boost as Ryan Gravenberch and Alisson are fit to face Everton | OneFootball

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and goalkeeper Alisson are not in danger of missing the Merseyside Derby against Everton next Wednesday despite both leaving their international camps early, according to the Daily Mail.

The Netherlands international withdrew from the Dutch camp for their two-legged Nations League quarter-final against Spain because of a knock he picked up when the Anfield club faced Newcastle United in the final of the Carabao Cup.

However, Liverpool have received a boost as his withdrawal was only a precaution and Gravenberch is expected to be fit when they play Everton after the break.

Alisson left the Brazil camp after suffering a blow to the head during the game against Colombia last week, missing their match against Argentina in the early hours of today.

The Reds goalie was only excluded from the game due to concussion protocol and he will now be available when Liverpool resume Premier League action having followed the guidelines on head injuries.

The Merseysiders have established a 12-point lead at the top of the table with nine league games remaining and will be desperate to pick up all three points when they host their bitter rivals a week today.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot and the fans would have been left with their hearts in their mouths after the injury concerns over Gravenberch and Alisson, but they have nothing to worry about and all their players are returning from international duty without knocks.

The Reds lost the Carabao Cup final just five days after they were dumped out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain, and they cannot afford to drop points in the title race at the moment.

Gravenberch has played in every of their league games so far while Alisson has missed just eight games, and being without either or both of them after the break would have been a huge blow.
