Liverpool should be looking to make some big signings in the summer transfer window after winning the Premier League this season. They should be looking to address the drawbacks within the team after not going deep into the UEFA Champions League and also not winning the Carabao Cup. One of the areas where they might need reinforcements is the left-back.

Andrew Robertson has been a dependable figure for the Reds in that position for quite some time. However, this season the Scottish international has been inconsistent with his performance and hence the Reds will be looking for a perfect replacement for Robertson in the summer.

Liverpool Are Favorites To Sign Milos Kerkez

According to a report by TEAMtalk, the Reds are targeting Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in the summer and they are also leading the race for his signature in the transfer window. Arne Slot’s side are expected to be successful in the signing of £45 million-rated full-back.

The Serbia-born defender has made massive improvements with each game in the Premier League. His performances for club and country have made him an attractive proposition for a number of clubs in the Premier League. However, the Reds are leading the race because they have the funds and are ready to match the amount that Bournemouth want.

Milos Kerkez has conceded 39 goals and kept eight clean sheets in 34 matches in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. That means when Kerkez is on the pitch, his team concedes a goal every 77 minutes. He has also amassed a total G/A of seven so far this season.

Will he be a good signing for the Reds?

Milos Kerkez is an energetic and fearless left-back who plays with intensity and purpose. His bursts of speed, relentless work rate, and ability to make both overlapping and underlapping runs add a constant threat down the flank. With sharp crosses, improved decision-making, and solid defensive instincts, he’s been a key figure for both Bournemouth and Hungary.

Kerkez would be a smart addition for Liverpool. His style fits the high tempo and attacking demands of the team, and at just 20, he brings both youth and experience. With Richard Hughes familiar with his talent, Kerkez could step in as a long-term successor to Andy Robertson, offering both depth and drive under Arne Slot.
