According to a report from L’Équipe, Lille are targeting a move to sign Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs (22) during the summer transfer window. The NEC Nijmegen stopper is seen as a potential replacement for Lucas Chevalier, who looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Les Dogues are now forced to find a replacement for the French keeper. Roefs has been targeted as a potential option to replace Chevalier. The 22-year-old is one of many goalkeepers that the Northern club have opened discussions with as they look for a quick resolution. No formal offer has yet been sent to the Eredivisie side. The Dutch U21 international is also attracting interest from clubs in England.
The 23-year-old looks set to depart the Stade Pierre-Mauroy after reaching an agreement on personal terms with the UEFA Champions League winners. Should a move materialise, the Lille stopper should sign a 5-year contract at the Parc des Princes. No formal offer has yet been submitted, but Les Parisiens are aware it will take an offer in the region of €40m.
