Wilitty Younoussa is forced to watch from the sidelines. Sidelined for the restart due to injury, the Cameroonian defensive midfielder has learned the length of his absence.

It was Rodez head coach Didier Santini who broke the unfortunate news, confirming a two-month layoff. As a result, Younoussa will be unavailable for the opening matches of the league campaign.

The French Ligue 2 season kicks off on August 9, 2025. Rodez will host Nancy in their opening fixture.

The Tochllire (Cameroon) native, who has played for Rodez since 2022, made 34 Ligue 2 appearances last season, scoring once and providing two assists.
