Arsenal visit Brighton & Hove Albion in today’s late Premier League clash.

The Gunners have won their last three league games, but they are still six points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

The London giants need to beat the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium to keep up the pressure on the Reds, who host Manchester United on Sunday.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has been an undisputed starter in goal for the Gunners. The Spaniard had a nervy return to Brentford, where he almost made a huge blunder.

He saved his blushes before Arsenal went on to win with ease and is expected to start.

There could be three defensive changes. Jurrien Timber is suspended for the game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the top-flight campaign.

With Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu also sidelined with injuries, Thomas Partey is expected to start at right-back.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are assured starters in the heart of the defence. It could be a straight swap at left-back with Myles Lewis-Skelly coming in for Riccardo Calafiori.

The latter could be handled with caution, having recently returned from injury.

Declan Rice will be reinstated in the number six role, with Partey dropping into defence. Mikel Merino had a good outing with a goal at Brentford but could be replaced by Kai Havertz.

He has been deemed fit to play after being ruled out on New Year’s Day through illness.

Martin Odegaard is set to accompany the duo in the centre of the park. Further forward, no changes are on the cards.

Ethan Nwaneri delivered two quality crosses in the lead-up to the second and third goals against Brentford. He should keep his place on the right wing.

Gabriel Martinelli is finding form at the right form. He scored the third goal with a sublime strike against the Bees. He is poised to start on the left wing, with Gabriel Jesus leading the attack.

The Brazil international has been in exceptional form, with six goals in his last four appearances. Manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping he can keep scoring as the club aim to stay in the title race.
