Barcelona secured the three points in a dominant 3-0 victory against Deportivo Alavés in their final match before the kick-off of the October international break.

The goal spree began in the 7th minute when Robert Lewandowski powered in a header to open the scoring.

The Polish striker went on to complete a hat-trick in the first-half, marking his second one wearing the Barça shirt.

The second half saw a more balanced contest, with Alavés showing greater intent in attack — even hitting the post in a close call.

Meanwhile, Barcelona dialed back their offensive efforts, focusing on maintaining control and cruising to a comfortable win.

Barça Universal brings you the player ratings from Barcelona 5-0 Young Boys.

Iñaki Peña: 4

Despite keeping a clean sheet, the number 13 looked shaky throughout the match. Given his recent form, Barcelona’s recent signing Wojciech Szczęsny might be a more reliable option as the starter to cover Ter Stegen’s absence.

Héctor Fort: 6

Not heavily tested defensively, and also having minimal involvement in the key moments of the attack.

Iñigo Martínez: 9

Another dominant display from the Spaniard veteran. Solid at the back and showing great football IQ in his contributions to the team’s offensive build-up.

In addition, Iñigo prevented the locals from scoring with a crucial block early in the second half. His form has made the absences of Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen less of a concern.

Alejandro Balde: 6

Lacked opportunities and had limited involvement defensively. Nevertheless, when tested, he delivered efficiently in the few actions he had.

Marc Casadó: 9

A dominant performance in midfield. Casadó played with freedom and fearlessness, taking full control of the pitch. His high pressing and presence in attack was crucial today.

Pedri: 9

Everywhere on the pitch, winning 5 duels and making 3 tackles. The little magician started at the double-pivot with Marc Casadó, but shifted to an attacking midfield role following Ferran Torres’ injury.

Lamine Yamal: 7

Yamal produced several eye-catching moments whenever he had the ball. Unfortunately, he was less involved than in previous matches, limiting his impact.

Raphinha: 10

The captain continues to shine, adding 2 assists for Robert Lewandowski today. The Brazilian is playing at the peak of his career, with 3 assists and 1 goal in his last two games.

Robert Lewandowski: 10

Lewandowski netted a hat-trick within the first 31 minutes of the match. The 36-year-old striker is probably in the best form of his Barcelona career, with 10 goals in 9 La Liga games this season — currently leading the Pichichi race.

Eric García: 8

Probably his best performance as a midfielder. He replaced the injured Ferran Torres and assisted Lewandowski’s 3rd goal. García looked very comfortable on the pitch.

Jules Koundé: 6.5

Benched and rested at the start after playing every match this season. Koundé came on in the second half for Héctor Fort. However, he wasn’t tested much defensively during his time on the pitch.

Ansu Fati: 7.5

In his limited minutes after coming on in the second half for Lamine Yamal, Ansu Fati showed he still has the same hunger for goals. The number 10 registered two shots — hitting the post once.

Frenkie de Jong: 5

Having recently returned from injury, the Dutch player is still working to regain his form. He came on for the final 10 minutes of the match, but it’s clear that he needs more opportunities to get back to his best level.

Gerard Martín: 5

Came on to give Iñigo Martínez some rest in the final 10 minutes of the match. He had minimal involvement as Alavés, already down 0-3, posed little threat in the closing stages.
