Footy Headlines have leaked new pictures of the Arsenal 2024/25 home kit, showing the front and the back of the shirt.

The shirt will remain red and white as usual, but it will also use a blue stripe on the front. Where this season’s Adidas shoulder stripes were in gold, next season’s will be in blue.

Unlike this season’s shirt, the white of the sleeves will extend all the way down the sides of the shirt to the bottom, and around the back.

As previously reported, all of Arsenal’s kits for 2024/25 will use the cannon logo instead of the usual club badge.

Arsenal have reportedly decided to use next season to celebrate the cannon, though but the crest isn’t about to disappear for good.

James McNicholas reported for The Athletic that changing the club’s crest to the cannon wouldn’t be a straightforward process, it would involve consultation with supporters, and it would be expensive.

Most importantly, there’s no suggestion Arsenal want to change it.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal have used a cannon as a badge. This season, the green third kit uses a cannon logo, as did the black away kit in 2022/23, and the yellow away kit in 2021/22.

It’s just been a while since the home kit has used a cannon. The last time was in the 1989/90 season, and even then it included an “AFC” in the form of cannon balls. The cannon hasn’t been used on its own on an Arsenal home kit since 1977/78.

Based on previous seasons, Arsenal will likely wear the new home kit in the last game of the current campaign against Everton on Sunday, May 19th, 2024.

One of the other two kits should then be released in early pre-season, and the other later in the summer.
