Chelsea and Manchester City have named their starting XIs ahead of the pair facing off at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Enzo Maresca's reign begins with the visit of the reigning Premier League champions, and the Italian has opted to hand Romeo Lavia his competitive debut with the Blues, while there is also space in the side for forward Christopher Nkunku.

There is no room for trio Romelu Lukaku, Conor Gallagher, Ben Chilwell, all of whom are free to leave this summer.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola hands a debut to Brazilian winger Savinho, while he also places his trust in Rico Lewis at right back.

The Cityzens are without several key men including Rodri and exciting talent Oscar Bobb, but can still name a strong bench that includes Matheus Nunes, John Stones and Phil Foden.
