Las Palmas youth star in criticial condition after being hit by car | OneFootball

Spanish outfit Las Palmas have on Tuesday announced some altogether concerning news in the club’s player ranks.

This comes amid confirmation that Zeben Ramos, better known as Zebensui, has been hospitalised after being struck by a car.

As per a statement across Las Palmas’ website and social media platforms this afternoon:

‘Zebensui (23 years old), a player from our youth team, was hit by a car last night in the municipality of Arucas, and is currently in critical condition after suffering a severe head injury.

‘He is in critical condition at the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria, where he remains under specialized medical care.

‘The club would like to express its sympathy and affection to Zebensui, his family, teammates, and loved ones during this difficult time, and we hope for his speedy and full recovery.’

Zebensui, for his part, is a 23-year-old defender, who spent this past season plying his trade with Las Palmas C, but also managed his debut for Las Palmas Atlético.
