The game took an intense turn just eight minutes after kick-off when Gavi collided heavily with Conechny during a heated contest for possession. Both players ended up sprawled on the pitch, clearly shaken by the impact.
Concerned teammates from both sides quickly gestured toward the benches, urging the medical staff to intervene as the situation looked serious.
The match came to an abrupt halt for around five minutes as medical personnel rushed onto the field. They carefully assessed the condition of both players, who remained visibly dazed from the violent clash.
Eventually, it was clear that substitutions would be necessary, and both players were escorted off the pitch. However, as confirmed by Barcelona, the midfielder is fine right now.
