Lamine Yamal is a complete anomaly in the world of football, and FC Barcelona are aware of it. Despite his young age, the Spaniard has catapulted himself to the top echelons of the game today. In fact, he is now also the proud owner of the iconic number ‘10’ at Barcelona.
Since inheriting that number, the player has delivered some top performances, which also include his recent display against Daegu FC. However, not everyone seems to be a fan of his choices away from the pitch, and that continues to create controversy.

Following the party and celebrations of his 18th birthday, something that even Joan Laporta publicly defended the player for, some people have decided to criticise and attack his character. Even recently, a special mural of his in Barcelona, painted by urban artist ‘TVBoy’, was vandalised.
However, as highlighted by SPORT and through footage shared by the artist himself, he has now restored the mural to its original state. He first painted the piece back in July, and has already had to restore it due to the intervention of other people.

Still, it is good to see the artist working on his art and getting to fix the damage that was done to it. Criticism like this towards the young Barcelona star continues to be a trendy bandwagon to hop on, but vandalising and destroying the work of others clearly shows the irrationality behind this negativity.
