LAFC have confirmed the signing of outgoing Milan striker Olivier Giroud.
The France international announced his plans to leave the San Siro on Monday following a three-year spell in which the club clinched the Scudetto.
Now 37, Giroud has agreed a deal with the Black and Gold that will run initially until the end of the 2025 Major League Soccer season.
“Olivier has a clear hunger to win, which he has done consistently throughout his club and international career,” said LAFC’s co-president John Thorrington.
“His championship ambition and his qualities as a man and as a player directly align with ours as a club.
“Therefore we believe Olivier will be a great addition as we continue in our pursuit of more trophies.”
Giroud will join Steve Cherundolo’s side when his Milan contract expires at the end of June.
