In two touching messages Kyogo spoke of how happy he was to be part of our club, and how he was entirely grateful for our support and cheering during his time at the club. “From the moment I joined until my final day, I’ve been happy every step of the way,” were his exact words.
He also said that winning things at the club and sharing it with the supporters made him the happiest player in the world countless times, believing these invaluable experiences were only possible because he came to Celtic.
Kyogo also spoke of how deeply moved and encouraged he was by all the warm messages and kind words he still continues to receive and can’t thank everyone enough, and will always keep us in his heart as he moves forward and continues on his journey.
Kyogo finished his message by saying that he was sorry he couldn’t say goodbye, before wishing the players and management staff all the best in the future. A classy farewell from a classy player.
