Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is giving consideration to making use of the talents of Kylian Mbappé out wide in the club’s next outing.

That’s according to Relevo, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid are of course primed to make their post-international break return to action later this evening, in a La Liga meeting with Leganés.

Los Blancos will head into the clash in the knowledge that a victory would prove a significant one, in closing the gap on table-topping Barcelona after the Blaugrana’s two dropped points at Celta Vigo last night.

And, in efforts towards as much, Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff could yet spring a surprise.

This comes amid confirmation that serious consideration is being given to handing Kylian Mbappé a start in his favoured berth on the left wing later today.

As much would come in an effort to afford the Frenchman’s confidence level a much-needed boost, with Mbappé having shone out wide in training this past week.

With the possibility of affording a rest to Vinícius Jr. also being pondered, the Real Madrid faithful could well be handed the chance to watch their headline summer signing take to the pitch in his most productive role against Leganés.
