The former Feyenoord manager arrives on Merseyside with a glowing reputation having guided the Rotterdam club to a Europa Conference League final, an Eredivisie title and a KNVB Cup following his appointment in 2021.

However, ex-Man Utd striker Yorke expects Slot to find life difficult in English football, continuing a tradition of Dutch coaches struggling in the Premier League.

Speaking with Crypto Casinos (via Liverpool.com), Yorke believes that the competitiveness of the English top flight will prove too much for Slot to handle.

"Can anyone confidently say there has been a good Dutch manager outside of the Netherlands in recent years? I think Arne Slot will fail to impress, the same way Erik ten Hag has," claimed Yorke.

"Slot hasn't shown any proof that he can adapt to British football and neither has any other Dutch manager."

Anderson Arroyo

Arroyo, 24, joined back in January 2018 as a teenager and was immediately loaned to Mallorca owing to work permit issues.

The Colombian signed for the Reds from Fortaleza CEIF in his homeland aged 18 after impressing club scouts, and then embarking on eight separate loan spells away from Merseyside.

According to Diario de Burgos, the ex-Colombia under-20 and under-23 international is finally set to complete a permanent move to Spanish side Burgos, bringing an end to his six-year association with Liverpool without a single appearance to his name at any level.

Arroyo will sign a three-year contract with Burgos although the report states Liverpool still need to tie up a few details on the terms of the deal.

Konate is behind Dayot Upamecano and William Saliba in Didier Deschamps’ central defensive pecking order for the European Championship and is yet to start a match for the 2022 World Cup finalists in Germany.

The Frenchman started five of Les Bleus' eight qualification matches but lost his place in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool lineup towards the end of the 2023-24 Premier League season.

"I came with a lot of expectations, that's part of football," he said prior to France’s Euro 2024 last 16 clash with Belgium.

"I knew what my place was before the first match. It's frustrating but I know my role on and off the field. A 100% 'Ibou' would never have sat on the bench. I didn't play for a month and a half."

Klopp was followed by Krawietz to Borussia Dortmund, then Liverpool, culminating in a successful tenure where the pair led the club to Premier League and Champions League glory.

However, their recent exit from the Anfield club has seen them embark on different paths, at least temporarily.

When questioned about potential future roles, Krawietz remained non-committal but open to various possibilities, including management.

"I don’t have a proper idea yet of what to do or what it will be. Is it management or something else? I will take my time," he said.

"[Management isn't] my first target, to be honest, at the moment. It is something I could think about, yes. Let’s see."
