Borussia Dortmund won 3-1 (1-0) against Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals – but were still edged out of the competition. Here's what BVB's coach and players, along with Barcelona's coach, had to say when interviewed on Amazon Prime.
Niko Kovač (Borussia Dortmund coach): "I think we played our best game since I've been here – and against a strong opponent. What the boys pulled off today, with the great support of the fans, was sensational! Hats off - it came at just the right moment. We ended on a high. But still, I would prefer to have qualified."
Serhou Guirassy: "I'm proud of what we've achieved. Barcelona are a strong team, but we were strong too and fought to the end. We showed what we can do. I'm happy to have scored, but it's a shame that our run is over now."
Pascal Groß: "We played very bravely and got behind their line a few times. We played very well. I believed in it all the way. We played in such a way that the stadium believed in us right to the end. You could see that we werenn't pout of our depth."
Niklas Süle: "We messed up in the first leg. From the first minute, everyone in the stadium could tell we believed in our chances tonight. I'm extremely proud of the team. We have an incredible amount of quality, as we saw today. The team is alive and well."
Hansi Flick (FC Barcelona coach): "Dortmund did very well. They have a fantastic team. I had a feeling it might go our way today. I know the stadium and the fans, and not too much went well for us. Congratulations to Dortmund."
