Katie Robinson seals Everton loan | OneFootball

Everton have continued their busy summer window with the signing of Katie Robinson.

The 22-year-old has joined the Toffees on loan for the 2024/25 campaign from Aston Villa with the option of making the move permanent.

Robinson becomes Brian Sorensen's fifth summer signing after having scored once in 21 games for the Villans last season.

"To be able to play here at Goodison is unbelievable," Robinson told the club's media about her move. "What an amazing, historic stadium. I can't wait for that! The Club are really investing in the Women’s team, I think that shows a lot.

"I had some really good conversations with the manager, Brian. I am really excited to get going and give my all for the Club.

"Those conversations definitely helped. He is very clear on his identity for the team. That is really important for me – to be a part of a club that has that clear vision. It made me really excited to be a part of. Hopefully the style of Everton can suit my play, too."

Robinson will be looking to recapture the kind of form she had previously shown at Brighton that led to her winning five England caps.
