Thiago Motta is under scrutiny at Juventus, and if the Bianconeri sack him before the Club World Cup, they won’t hire a caretaker manager but a coach who will also lead them in 2025-26.
Juventus don’t want to play in this summer’s Club World Cup with a caretaker coach. Therefore, if they sack Thiago Motta before the competition begins on June 14, they’ll hire a replacement who would be ready to lead the team in 2025-26 as well.
According to Gazzetta, the coach in charge of Juventus during the Club World Cup will be the same coach who leads the team in the following campaign.

The coach in charge for the Club World Cup could be Motta or somebody else.
This morning, all Italian newspapers claim that earning a Champions League placement won’t be enough for Motta to keep his job despite his contract expiring in 2027.
According to Gazzetta, former Milan coach Pioli is among the candidates to replace Motta next season alongside Antonio Conte, Gian Piero Gasperini, and Roberto De Zerbi.
Tuttosport believes Gasperini is the leading candidate.
The Turin-based paper adds that a negative result away at Fiorentina on Sunday could already cost Motta the job with NextGen coach Massimo Brambilla and U20 boss Francesco Magnanelli in line to replace the ex-Italy international for the last games of the season and before the Club World Cup.
