Juventus, Manchester United, and Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres appears to be fed up with transfer speculation, saying: ‘I will speak when the time is right.’
Sporting CP striker Gyokeres, one of the most sought-after strikers in the 2025 summer transfer window, has released a brief statement about his future, appearing annoyed by the recent transfer speculation.
“There is [are] a lot of talks at the moment, most of it is false. I will speak when the time is right,” Gyokeres wrote in an Instagram story on Thursday.
Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal have already approached the Sweden striker, as Football Italia reported this week.
Multiple sources believe Gyokeres will be allowed to leave Sporting for circa €70m this summer, despite a €100m clause included in his contract with the club.
However, Sporting CP President Frederico Varandas told the BBC earlier this week that this would not be the case.
“I can guarantee that Viktor Gyokeres will not leave for € 60m plus €10m because I never promised that,” Varandas said.
“To this day, Sporting have not had an offer for Gyokeres – neither today nor last season.”

Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 appearances with Sporting CP in 2024-25, and his contract at the club runs out in June 2028.
Football Italia understands Arsenal have been in contact with Gyokeres’ camp in recent days, just like Manchester United and Juventus.
The Gunners are also interested in RB Leipzig’s forward Benjamin Sesko and have held talks with the latter.
