Juventus have sealed the deal to retain Francisco Conceiçao but haven’t abandoned their chase of Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford has been involved in the recent dialogue with Manchester United too, Sky informs.
The two sides are discussing a fee in the neighborhood of €15M for the former Chelsea loanee. His wages would be aligned with Serie A standards. His severance package is part of the negotiation. The fact that his contract expires in 2026 helps the Bianconeri a lot. They might have to offer, but they have been running unopposed for a couple of weeks.
While Juventus are closing in on Sancho, the discussions concerning Rashford have only been preliminary. He’s on his way out too after returning from a so-so six-month spell at Aston Villa.
However, he’s tied to Manchester United until 2028. His valuation is roughly €50M, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs. The Old Lady will eventually contemplate other options if they can’t strike a deal with PSG to bring back Randal Kolo Muani. However, Dusan Vlahovic is determined to stay on an expiring deal, which might block them from making other additions.
They have negotiated the figures down so much for the former that it’d be a shame not to acquire him at this point, especially while keeping Conceiçao. They shouldn’t mess about and seal the deal without waiting to find a new home for Nicolas Gonzales. Somebody versatile like the latter could perhaps be the way to go up front, even with Vlahovic still on their roster, but the numbers would have to be right and much lower.
