Thiago Motta’s sacking means Juventus will need extra income to balance the books by June 30, so Gazzetta reports the Bianconeri hope Liverpool and Bayern Munich will join Manchester City in a bidding war for Andrea Cambiaso.

Gazzetta reported on Tuesday that Juventus would need to raise €30m by the end of the financial year to cover the costs of Motta’s sacking and maintain its business targets.

A fresh report on Wednesday suggests that Italy international Cambiaso is the player Juventus may be forced to sell by June 30 to balance the books.

Manchester City had been heavily linked with the Italian full-back during the winter transfer window, and according to Gazzetta, the Juventus star had already reached an agreement with Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Bianconeri will be looking for a sale in the region of €60m over the summer, but they hope Manchester City won’t be the only club interested.

The pink paper reports that Bayern Munich had previously sounded out the defender’s availability, while Liverpool may join the race as well, given that the Reds will need a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Dusan Vlahovic is the first player Juventus would put on the market as the Serbian is unwilling to sign a contract extension beyond 2026, but the ex-Fiorentina striker hasn’t attracted as many admirers as Cambiaso in recent months, and his summer departure will likely take longer to materialise.

Gazzetta also mentions Samuel Mbangula, Federico Gatti and Kenan Yildiz as players who can potentially leave Turin if the Bianconeri receive a substantial offer by June 30.
