Manchester United are desperate to move on Antony in the summer, knowing this is the best time to cash in, given the forward’s incredible form out on loan.

The Brazilian has seven goals and four assists from 20 appearances in all competitions for Real Betis since his January move and one goal for United, and his impressive form has caught the attention of multiple suitors.

Arsenal have been one of the surprising entrants in the race, while Atletico Madrid have submitted their opening bid of €40 million for the 25-year-old.

The Red Devils are hoping to earn close to €50 million if possible for a player whom they paid a whopping €95 million for on the insistence of former manager Erik ten Hag.

Antony is in demand

If possible, Real Betis want to keep him on loan for another season but INEOS know that the Brazil international’s stock is at its highest and they might not be in a position to demand a huge amount in 2026.

Tutto Juve have now claimed Juventus are also impressed with the former Ajax ace and are looking at a potential summer deal but will not come close to paying the €50 million being demanded by the Red Devils.

“Antony has managed to change his story thanks to his brilliant performances at Real Betis. This explosion has led to a major turning point in his contractual situation.

“Manchester United, aware that they cannot recoup the 100 million euros paid to Ajax for him in 2022, have decided to put him on the market with a starting price of 50 million. Juventus are following him closely but will not pay 50 million.”

Juventus join the race

It will be interesting to see what price United ultimately decide to sell him for or whether they accept Betis’ loan request.

It is clear that the Spanish side cannot come close to matching United’s valuation, which explains the thinly-veiled threats being given by their CEO.

The Brazil international proved to be a huge disappointment for United, managing a meagre 12 goals and five assists in two-and-a-half seasons in England.

Antony had blamed off-field problems for his poor displays but the truth is he was not good enough for the pace and physicality of the Premier League.
