Juventus are reportedly back in the race to sign Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, as the player has decided to stay on in the Bundesliga for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, which rules out an immediate move to Serie A leaders Napoli.
Adeyemi was one of two players Napoli had been targeting as a potential replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who left the Partenopei to join Paris Saint-Germain for a fee in excess of €70m earlier in the January transfer window.
However, according to several outlets in Italy on Tuesday evening, Adeyemi has now decided to stay on with Dortmund until the summer at least, which means he will not be moving to Napoli in January.

That comes as a boost for Juventus, who had made attempts to sign the four-time Germany international in the summer. Reports at the time claimed that the parties were in discussions over a five-year contract worth around €3.5m per season in wages.
According to reports from transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, the Bianconeri could try to sign the 23-year-old in the summer again given that he could still be on the move again in the next transfer window.
