Sky Sports News understands that Paul Pogba (31) and Juventus are in advanced talks over a contract termination, which would allow the Frenchman to join another club on a free transfer.
Pogba saw his lengthy four-year ban reduced to 18 months last month. The ruling from CAS means that the former Manchester United midfielder is able to return to action in March 2025. He had stated a desire to remain with Juventus, even suggesting that he would take a pay cut to do so, however, it now looks highly likely that the two parties will part ways.
Sky Sports News report that talks between Pogba and Juventus over a contract termination have now reached an advanced stage. His deal had been set to run until the summer of 2026.
It means that Pogba will be free to talk with other clubs. Olympique de Marseille have been touted as a potential destination, however, this option has been downplayed by some at the French club. Sky Sports understands that the midfielder is also attracting interest from the MLS, Saudi Arabia, and the Premier League.
