Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media, to reveal his appreciation for the recent efforts of teammate Raúl Asencio.

Defender Asencio was for his part in from the off on Sunday, afforded a first-ever senior start in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Leganés.

And, after notching an assist off the bench last time out against Osasuna, the 21-year-old, once more, went on to thoroughly impress.

Looking completely at home at the heart of Carlo Ancelotti’s backline, Asencio was both stout in his defending, and supremely composed on the ball.

Widespread praise, in turn, poured in for the stopper post-match.

And, as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of Asencio’s appreciators late on Sunday was none other than Jude Bellingham.

Taking to the comments section of his teammate’s latest post on Instagram, midfielder Bellingham, who also shone bright against Leganés, wrote:
