The young Nigerian talent Josiah Awerosuoghene Egbedi is leaving IK Sirius to join a rival club in the Swedish league.

He is moving to AIK, a team competing in the Allsvenskan. At just 16 years old, this versatile player—equally adept as a central defender or a midfielder—made his mark in the youth ranks of IK Sirius. His standout performances caught the eye of several prestigious foreign clubs, including Juventus, Torino, Genoa, and Benfica.

Ultimately, the prodigy has chosen to stay in Sweden and continue his development at one of the country's most illustrious clubs. His agency, VMC Group, confirmed the signing of his first professional contract with AIK:
