📈 Jordan Morris strikes again and hits a pair of milestones in the process | OneFootball

Jordan Morris is a man in-form for the Seattle Sounders, and he bagged yet another goal Saturday afternoon as the Sounders defeated Minnesota United in Saint Paul.

Morris has bounced around various forward roles in his eight years as a Sounder, but he has settled nicely into the central-striker position in place of club legend Raúl Ruidíaz this season.

Morris has repaid the faith of manager Brian Schmetzer, now hitting 10 goals on the campaign after his early strike in Minnesota this evening. The 29-year-old darted in behind the Loons' defense before slotting home a cool, calm finish.

With that goal, Morris hit quite a few milestones. The forward became just the 15th player in MLS history to score double digit goals in five seasons, and the first to do so for the Seattle Sounders.

Meanwhile, he continues to climb up the scoring charts for his boyhood club. Now with 80 in his Seattle career, Morris passed Fredy Montero to become the club's second all-time leading scorer.
