Jaydee Canvot signs contract ahead of Crystal Palace move from Toulouse | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Jaydee Canvot (19) has signed his contract ahead of making his £23m move to Crystal Palace from Toulouse. The East London club have won the race to sign the young Frenchman.

Canvot broke through at his formative club Toulouse last season and has been identified by Get French Football News as a prospect to watch in our pre-season Ligue 1 guide. A versatile player with great anticipation and strong on the ball, he has often played at centre-back, but he is also capable in midfield, as he showed in Le TéFéCé’s win over OGC Nice on Saturday.

Signing Canvot may also mean Palace would now allow Marc Guehi to join Liverpool. The England international has entered the final months of his contract with the South London side.
