The Jason Tindall Crystal Palace Press Conference has taken place.

United facing Crystal Palace at 7.30pm on Wednesday night at St James’ Park.
Newcastle United looking to make it six wins in a row in all competitions.
United will go third in the table if getting a point or more against Palace.

“The most important thing [on Sunday] was that the players went out and delivered a performance that the manager would be proud of.
“They showed a fantastic attitude and everyone pulled together when they needed to.”
Jason Tindall on Eddie Howe:
“He’s in the best possible hands and he’ll be back as soon as he feels he’s ready to come back.
“Your health is the most important thing – that’s why it’s so important that when he comes back he is able to lead the team as we know he does, which I’m sure he will do.”
Jason Tindall on preparations for this match against Palace:
“We know the expectations and the demands we put on each other every day and it’s going to have to remain that way until the manager is back.
“We know what we need to do, we know how we prepare.”
Jason Tindall on player availability for Wednesday night:
“Joe Willock is now exiting the concussion protocols so he’s available now to be involved in the squad tomorrow.
“Everybody has come away from Sunday fine.
It was good to get Anthony Gordon some minutes and good to have him back with the qualities he’s got. The squad is in good shape.”

“We are really pleased with Sven.
“He is back on the grass and ahead of schedule.
“Hopefully we will see him really soon.”
