La Gazzetta dello Sport reports France star Theo Hernandez is ‘destined’ to leave Milan in the summer as the club had accepted a €50m bid from Como in January while contract talks are stalling.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Milan and Theo Hernandez are destined to part company in the summer.
The France defender’s contract expires in June 2026, and talks over a new deal are stalling.
Gazzetta reports Milan are unwilling to match the defender’s demands due to his poor performances this season, including the latest 1-0 loss against Feyenoord in the Champions League.

The pink paper adds that the Rossoneri had accepted a €50m bid from Como for Theo in the January transfer window, confirming that the 27-year-old is no longer untouchable.
Como President Mirwan Suwarso has recently confirmed that a Serie A star rejected joining the Azzurri after his club accepted their bid.
Gazzetta claims that Theo’s future is ‘more than in doubt’ given that his and Milan’s ‘paths are destined to separate.’
The problem for the Rossoneri is that there are no other big offers on the horizon for the France international, who is no longer on Bayern Munich’s radars.
Since joining Milan in 2019, Hernandez has played 245 matches, scoring 33 goals and providing 44 assists.
