Jack Grealish and Sasha Attwood announce birth of daughter in wholesome social media posts | OneFootball

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood have announced the birth of their first child together born late last month.

The announcement has come whilst Grealish takes a break from his relentless Manchester City duties in club football, but amid a call-up to Lee Carsley’s England squad having played an integral role in the system during the September break.

Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood has been with the midfielder throughout his professional football career, and is often seen at the Etihad Stadium on matchdays whilst celebrating his monumental football successes on the pitch in Manchester and Istanbul in 2023.

Announcing the birth of his child, accompanied by an image of his daughter, Jack Grealish’s caption on Instagram read, “Mila Rose Grealish 27/09/24”.

As for his partner Sasha Attwood, she posted the same image accompanied by the caption, “27/09/24 Mila Rose Grealish, The most special moment of my life”.

With baby Mila born on September 27, it appears as though Jack Grealish returned to work just a day after the birth, having featured for Manchester City on September 28 against Newcastle at St James’ Park in a 1-1 draw.

The announcement on Grealish’s Instagram in particular has been met by a huge response from many of football’s most notable figures and players, sending their best wishes to the new family.

Former Manchester City defender and now-Arsenal star, Oleksandr Zinchenko wrote, “Congrats to you both brother”, whilst the Ukrainian’s Gunners teammate Declan Rice and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford both sent their best wishes.

Aston Villa star and former Manchester City Academy talent Morgan Rogers also sent his love with a message reading, “Congratulations brother”, whilst the wives and partners of Ilkay Gundogan, Nathan Ake, Kalvin Phillips, Jordan Pickford, and Riyad Mahrez also sent messages.
