Roma coach Ivan Juric is possibly facing his last hours as manager in charge of the Giallorossi.

Following tonight’s 5-1 defeat to Fiorentina, Juric was asked about the difficult situation he finds himself in.

“Resigning? I never thought about it, absolutely not. One night doesn’t change forty days of hard work,” Juric said in his post-match presser.

“I’ve seen games that are totally different from this one and that were very good, where the team was following my ideas and showing promising things.”

“I’ve never had any negative feelings, tonight everything is bad. I absolutely believe that the team is with me, or it wouldn’t have had a streak like this, growing so much in recent weeks. The players are the most disappointed ones.”

“Tonight, honestly, everything was missing. The defensive phase, the offensive phase… Everything. There is nothing to say that we did well or that things went badly for us. And for me it is very strange, an evening like this, after the first seven games. We must recover from this.”

The concept is not to apologize: everyone is working hard, tonight things went really badly. And I feel sorry for the players, their frustration is enormous: if they feel they have to apologize, let them do it.”
