Much has been said about Everton striker Beto as a potential January reinforcement for Dan Friedkin’s Roma.

In the last few hours, Roma’s interest in Beto has made the rounds in Italian media as he could become a reinforcement for the attack in the January transfer market, as Artem Dovbyk’s deputy.

Gabriele La Manna, agent and intermediary who handled Beto’s transfer from Portimonense to Udinese, was interviewed by okcalciomercato.it on the possibility that the striker could return to Serie A.

“Yes, he could return to Italy,” said La Manna. “Beto is currently out of Everton’s main rotations, but the biggest problem is linked to the cost of his pricetag”

“The Toffees paid a significant amount for him and the player’s salary is around 3 million euros.”

A return to Italy is therefore possible, but the operation would be expensive for Roma who would have to secure Eldor Shomurodov’s outgoing transfer first.
