Nottingham Forest head into 2025 sitting second in the Premier League, and it is largely thanks to Chris Wood.

The New Zealand forward grabbed his 11th goal of the season in their win over Everton, and it might have been his best for Forest yet.

Nodding on a long ball, Wood got onto the return header before lifting a deft chip over an onrushing Jordan Pickford and into the empty net.

Now 32-years-old, Wood really is ageing like a fine wine.
