Inter Milan want to sign Ademola Lookman in time for the start of preseason, and aren’t worried about Atletico Madrid’s interest.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

This week, bombshell reports emerged regarding Inter Milan’s interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

The Nerazzurri have already agreed terms with the Nigerian. He is ready to sign a five-year deal worth €4 million net per season, while Inter benefit from the Growth Decree on his salary.

Moreover, the Corriere confirm, Lookman has made his preference crystal clear. He wants to join Inter Milan, and will reject other suitors.

According to Tuttosport, Inter want to wrap up a deal to sign Lookman fairly quickly.

The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri even hope to have the Nigerian in their squad for the start of preseason training.

In the background, there is also Atletico Madrid. The Spanish giants have shown an interest in signing Lookman this summer.

However, Tuttosport report that the Colchoneros’ interest has not worried Inter.

On the contrary, the newspaper anticipate, the Nerazzurri feel there is little threat of Atletico hijacking a deal for Lookman.
