Inter Milan are pushing to sign defender Giovanni Leoni this summer transfer window, but Parma don’t want to sell him.
This according to today’s print edition of the Gazzetta di Parma, via FCInterNews. They report that the Gialloblu will not accept a bid of less than €40 million for the 19-year-old.
Giovanni Leoni is a top target for Inter Milan in defense.
The Nerazzurri had already tried to sign the teenager from Sampdoria last summer. But his outstanding form at Parma has truly solidified their interest.
Furthermore, centre-back is a priority position for Inter to reinforce. They must find a long-term heir to Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij in the centre of their back three.
