Inter are already gearing up for the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have already sealed a couple of big free transfer signings.

Midfielder Zielinski and striker Taremi will arrive when their contracts with Napoli and Porto respectively expire.

Then, there are already some notable targets for Inter this summer.

Reportedly, Brazilian international Bento is one of them. The 24-year-old is currently at Athletico Paranaense, but there is a sense that he won’t be for long.

Reports indicate that Inter see Bento as their ideal long-term solution in goal.

Baccin isn’t giving too much away – but he certainly doesn’t deny the interest.

Baccin: Inter Interested In Bento, “Proud” Of Zielinski & Taremi Signings

Inter Assistant Sporting Director Baccin said that “We’re happy with the goalkeepers we have.”

“Thinking about the future, Bento is one of the names we’re looking at,” he continued.

“We’ve watched him closely. But right now it would be premature to talk about him.”

Baccin made clear that Bento “is one of two or three young players we’re very closely following.”

Meanwhile, of contract extensions for Simone Inzaghi, Lautaro Martinez, and Nicolo Barella, Baccin said that “We’re working on it.”

“There’s a mutual desire on the part of everyone to move forward together,” he continued.

“When the starting point is such a solid relationship, then we all have the same desire. I don’t think there will be any problems.”

As far as Inter’s summer transfer plans, Baccin said that “When a group has done as well as this one has, we want to meddle with it as little as possible.”

“We’re proud to have added Zielinski and Taremi to the team,” he continued. “Proud they chose us.”

Baccin also gave background on the signing of defender Yann Bisseck last summer. “He was on our shortlist,” the executive explained.

“We watched him at the Under-21 Euros. There were some internal discussions, and then we decided to go after him.”

“He fit the parameters we wanted. A young player with great potential, and affordable.”

Baccin said that Bisseck’s “impact has been incredible.”

“He came into the team with strong mentality and intelligence. We’ve very happy with him.”
