Inter director Ausilio: “Frattesi never asked to leave.” | OneFootball

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio addressed the rumors circulating about Davide Frattesi’s request to move to Roma.

In an interview with Sky Sport, the Italian executive clarified the situation regarding the midfielder’s future.

“It’s much simpler than it seems. Frattesi has never come to ask for a transfer,” he said.

“Recently the coach checked with the whole team, as is right in this period. The team is focused on many objectives.”

“Frattesi is an important player and has never expressed the intention of leaving. There are no teams that have come forward to us directly.”

“We know that he has a nice agent, who is a friend but is also very active and has certainly tried to get something moving.”

“It has become more of a media issue than a technical one: lately he has played less, not because of choices but because of physical issues, things that are not serious but that have put him aside.”

“Even though he is not feeling very well he has always given his availability: he was on the bench recently too.”
