Serie A champions Inter are keeping a close eye on Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract situation is now getting complex.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported that the Nerazzurri have asked Donnarumma’s agent Enzo Raiola to remain updated about the situation of the goalkeeper, as they want to remain ahead of other clubs in the race for the Italian.
Inter are considering their options to sign a new goalkeeper in the next two summers and while a move for Donnarumma is not going to be easy, they will still keep an eye on how things go. The ex-Milan man wants to remain at PSG for many years, but PSG sporting director Luis Campos has asked the club’s best players to agree to a reduction on monthly salary.
This has brought about deeper evaluations amongst the entourages of many players and the same also applies to Donnarumma. As a result, Inter will make an attempt in the summer if no developments take place over a renewal. They could also wait to land him in the summer of 2026, when his contract runs out in Paris.
