Multiple sources confirm that after floating the idea of making him train with the Under-23 squad, Inter will let Mehdi Taremi work separately from the senior players.
The striker was forced to miss the FIFA Club World Cup and then didn’t have a pre-season with new coach Cristian Chivu, but it was already known he was not part of their plans for this term.
He is set to begin training on Wednesday at the Pinetina ground and there had been suggestions in Sky Sport Italia that he would be working with the Under-23 team under the guidance of coach Stefano Vecchi.

However, Sportitalia, Sport Mediaset and ultimately Sky Sport Italia too confirmed that idea was scrapped, so Taremi will be able to work in the same venue as his senior Inter teammates.
Nonetheless, the Iran international will be training separately to work on his fitness levels and getting back up to speed.
The plan remains for him to leave this summer, with clubs including Fulham, West Ham United, Leeds United, Besiktas, Flamengo and Botafogo all showing an interest.
The 33-year-old arrived as a free agent from FC Porto last summer, contributing three goals and nine assists in 43 competitive games.
