Injuries to Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have not changed Inter Milan’s stance, as they want €45 million for Davide Frattesi.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri were hardly keen to sell the 25-year-old even before those injuries, and have not changed their plans.
The transfer rumours regarding Frattesi have continued to swirl.
The former Sassuolo midfielder is very much a target for Roma. The Giallorossi will reportedly try and make progress on a deal for him in the coming weeks.
And by all accounts, Frattesi is not happy with his playing time at Inter and would like a change of scenery.
And in the meantime, two key Inter midfielders have picked up injuries.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan will miss at least one more match with a thigh problem. And Hakan Calhanoglu could be out for the rest of January with a calf strain.
Missing two regular starters in midfield certainly underlines the need for midfield depth for the Nerazzurri.
However, Sky report that Inter’s plans haven’t chanted.
Inter will in fact listen to offers for Frattesi from Roma.
But the price tag stands at €45 million. That has not gone up or down.
