Breakthrough Barcelona prodigy Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández has highlighted a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad as the player whom he currently ‘admires most’ in world football.

Youngster Dro is of course fresh off a day which will live long in the memory on Sunday.

This comes after the 17-year-old was afforded his senior Barcelona debut.

En route to a 3-1 pre-season victory over Vissel Kobe, the versatile midfielder/winger was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half.

And Dro wasted little time in making an impact, rounding out the scoring in Kobe courtesy of a brilliant volleyed effort from the edge of the penalty area.

Post-match, the Spaniard, in turn, took part in his first round of media duties since linking up with Hansi Flick’s squad.

And during as much, Dro made use of the opportunity to reveal his appreciation for Blaugrana standout Pedri:

“In the past, I really liked the playing style of Isco and Neymar, but now Pedri is the one I admire the most.”
