Manchester United must make a significant squad overhaul to align with manager Ruben Amorim’s tactical vision.
Antony is among the players reportedly on his way out.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League showdown with Brighton & Hove Albion, Amorim stopped short of dismissing the possibility of Antony’s departure.
He said (via ManUtd.com): “I want to keep my players. I’m focused on this, these players.
“I don’t know what is going to happen. This window, we’ll see, but he did a good job today.”

Amorim handed him a golden opportunity to impress in Thursday’s league clash against Southampton.
He was brought on at half-time for Kobbie Mainoo, with United trailing by a goal.

The 24-year-old had an open goal to shoot at from six yards but he ended up defending rather than aiming for the goal.
Rather than tapping it home, he slid in, missing one of the easiest scoring opportunities.
He earned only 3/10 ratings in our post-match ratings.
Fortunately for United, Amad Diallo bagged his maiden hat-trick to take his side home.
Antony has not done enough to stay, and he must be offloaded this month.
He is currently earning £200,000 per week but is not playing enough to warrant that hefty paycheck.
Real Betis are eyeing a loan deal for Antony in January.
If the Spanish club could cover a large portion of the wages, United would be tempted to release Antony.
